El 6 de agosto de 2020 se lanzó un remix de la canción con el cantante estadounidense Lauv y la rapera Saweetie, titulado "Kings & Queens, Pt. 2 (feat. Lauv & Saweetie)".
Antecedentes[]
En una entrevista con Popdust, Max reveló que la canción inicialmente pasó por diez iteraciones diferentes, que incluían diferentes melodías y producción, antes de que se completara la versión final. La canción muestra If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man) de Bonnie Tyler.
Promoción[]
Max hizo un teaser del sencillo en su cuenta de Instagram al eliminar casi todas sus publicaciones y cambiar todo su tema. También envió tarjetas físicas a algunos de sus fanáticos con un enlace para RSVP para el sencillo en su sitio web.
El 8 de julio de 2021, Ava lanzó una versión ASMR de la canción exclusivamente a través de Deezer.

La canción recibió críticas positivas, y Jon Blistein de Rolling Stone elogió el "verso pulsante" de la canción y su "gancho dramático salpicado de sintetizadores reales". Mike Nied de Idolator sintió que la canción "destaca la capacidad de Ava para llenar las pistas de baile de todo el mundo". El video musical, dirigido por Isaac Rentz, fue lanzado el 27 de marzo de 2020. Max describió el video como "muy colorido, súper divertido, baile loco y una gran celebración". La presenta en una sala del trono empuñando una espada y organizando una fiesta con sus amigos, jugando con un tablero de ajedrez de tamaño natural y teniendo una sesión de baile sincronizada.
