They very well could have but most of the time articles are paid for/given a heads up by an artist's management for promotion if i'm not mistaken!

There's also a lot of proofreading involved. Ava might have originally planned to announce but something changed last minute and this article wasn't notified. It is confirmed to be the title by insiders though.
