"No Angel" is an unreleased song by Ava Max that was recorded during the sessions for her debut album Heaven & Hell.
Background[]
Max first previewed the song in an Instagram live sometime around December 3, 2018,[1] along with a snippet of "Blood, Sweat & Tears". She later announced at a listening party with fans in London that "No Angel" would not appear on her debut album.
In a 2021 interview, Max was asked about the status of the song along with "Wild Thing", and she responded saying, "Maybe those songs will make an appearance in the future but right now, they are in my 'holding box'," insinuating that the songs might be released some time in the future, but as of now, she has no plans to release them.
In an interview held on a Zoom call sometime in 2020, she stated "it was never coming".[2]
