"Try Again" is an unreleased song by American singer Ava Max. It was initially recorded for a project in 2016 that was later scrapped. Her cousin Marsel Koci later shared a snippet of a remastered version of the song in 2019, meaning it was most likely intended to be released on her debut album Heaven & Hell.

Background

The song was intended to be released under the alias AVA on October 1, 2016, as a follow up to "Anyone But You". An unseen music video was recorded and directed by Shomi Patwary who later directed the music video for her debut single as Ava Max, "Sweet but Psycho".

On August 26, 2019, Max's cousin, Marsel, posted a 25-second snippet of the remastered version of the song on his Instagram story, which Ava later re-shared on hers. The demo later surfaced through a leak on March 12, 2021, following a Rolling Stone interview on Twitch in which the song was mentioned in a question from the chat.
